Shortcakes

Yesterday was a strawberry shortcake for dinner day! Grandpa brought over the strawberries and I whipped up some homemade  shortcake while grandpa prepared the whipped cream. Yummy.

That was a delightful dessert after a long afternoon of yardwork for hubby and cleaning the house for me; these desserts were welcomed with much enjoyment!

Brody enjoyed eating the strawberries but not a fan of the final shortcake product. Boy, was he missing out.

Today, we are making strawberry freezer jam...stay tuned!
