A Resolution

It's easy! Do what I love! Even though I am not a professional in the blogging world I do miss it and I had fun doing it. My resolution for 2014 is to blog more. It will be about family life, things to do in Oregon (primarily Salem and the Willamette Valley), food (trying to eat healthier this year), and beauty (makeup, hair, and clothes)! And I am sure I will have random posts too that are completely not relevant to any of those subjects but something that I find intriguing. 

So, what did I do on New Years, you may ask? The day started out with a trip to the Old Mill District in Bend to strictly enjoy the walking trails and to let Brody play at the park. Not shopping! 

If you have never been to Bend the Old Mill District is an outdoor shopping center nestled along the beautiful Deschutes River. They offer plenty of stores and eateries to accommodate everyone. You will also find the movie theatre there. Across the River is the Les Schwab amphitheater. A haven for the best summer concerts. I also noticed that a 114 room Hampton Inn and Suites is being built on that same side of the river.

After walking, we headed back home to my mom's house, had dinner and now are watching Smurf's 2. Yes, I am blogging while watching, with a baby sleeping on my chest.
