What are wool dryer balls?
People usually give me a puzzled look when I tell them we use wool dryer balls with our laundry routine.
As I journey down my "trying to go green" path I had an interest with them after reading about them through blog reviews/giveaways.

Dryer balls are used to reduce dryer time by aerating your laundry. This also comes in handy if you cloth diaper like I do and don't want to have a diaper aplix tab chain. Same has been done with tennis balls but wool balls are much quieter and natural! Wool dryer balls are also a natural fabric softener (dryer sheets can leave build up on your clothes as well as your lint trap which is a fire hazard!). Rachel over at B&N Laundry can add drops of essential oils to make your laundry smell delicious!
B&N Laundry states that her dryer balls last up to a year depending on the usage. You can order them scented, unscented (which is what we have), natural color, or colored! We've had ours for about a month now and love them. If you can't order them online check out your local Saturday markets or craft fairs. I've stumbled on them at a local Christmas craft fair this last Christmas!
My picture below shows what they look like after usage, and they are still all in one piece!
